I don't know about you, but I seem to get
more and more junk mail from get rich quick schemes, which
along with the quadzillions of competition entries telling
me I have won a cash prize, and the credit card application
who want to put me in debt - it all generally goes binwards
- and quickly.
So when a letter offering me a course called
"The
Insider Secrets to Marketing your business on the Internet"
dropped on my doormat, what made me stop and read this particular
piece of "junk mail".
Well firstly it wasn't claiming to make me rich overnight,
secondly it was in my particular area of expertise and lastly
it was offering me a genuine business affiliation scheme
The first thing I noticed were the lines " in three to
six months time your earnings could be....", and as I
read farther into it it became obvious that this certainly
wasn't "junk mail", it was actually telling me a
lot of what I had already found to be true about marketing
on the net.
So having found that this wouldn't happen overnight and I
needed to put some time and effort in to reap the rewards,
funnily enough, made me feel better about laying out some
"hard earned". I have been around long enough to
now that there is no free lunch, and luck doesn't happen -
it is made! (and I have also read enough junk mail to know
when I am being conned)
The trouble is that running your own business doesn't allow
you a lot of free time, to set up web sites, try out new marketing
strategies and apply it all to your existing business. This
is where the course scores so heavily, because it has so many
facets, some of the strategies can be implemented immediately
- and some will take time to set up. It really does depend
on how you currently run your business. Fundamental to the
course however, is the fact that you don't have to change
the way you currently do business. The techniques involved
are designed to add to and assist your current business practices,
not to replace them.
The Internet is a good place to market your
business, because once up and running your web site is available
24 hrs a day, to the entire world, and is undoubtedly the
cheapest form of advertising on the planet.
Knowing how to send traffic to your site is the real trick
of Internet marketing, and the course shows you how with the
assistance of an automated site
promoter, you can make sure you are always found in the
search lists and by your customers
Even if you don't currently have your own web site, this course
will show you some brilliant e-mail methods to promote your
business and improve your customer relationships.
Your whole e-mail process can be automated, using a product
such as Mailloop,
so your business e-mail can almost take care of itself. You
can mailshot your entire client base in seconds, and have
all the responses automatically directed to deliver whatever
you want to send, or whatever you wish to respond with.
This takes time to set up but once running will generate a
lot of repeat business, which, as you are probably well aware,
is always going to be your best business.
If your products are in the information area, i.e. printed
material or software then net marketing is a must for you,
"The
Insider Secrets" has tricks for protecting your material
to stop illegal copying and setting up affiliations with similar
web vendors to market your site. If the written word is your
area of commerce then check out our eBook
Pro software.
The one thing that frightened most businesses when trading
on the Internet, is taking Credit Cards for payment. So I
was very pleased to find that the course shows you how to
accept credit card payment on the Net with absolute confidence.
We can also supply eCommerce
software that includes everything your need to set up your
own shopping site.
I must admit when I first studied the course, I had doubts
about the validity of the figures involved, but having digested
the information, I realise the benefits these techniques can
have to every business, no matter how big or small, and vast
profits are certainly there to be made. Certainly if you set
up an affiliates
program then you can have hundreds, or even thousands
of affiliates selling your products to all areas of the globe.
If you do want to set up an affiliates scheme then look at
the Affiliate
Tracking software. This is needed to track how well your
affiliates are doing, and how well your advertising campaigns
are performing. You can in fact track how many times any of
your advertising banners or links get clicked on, and whether
or not it led to a sale. It therefore becomes easy to try
out different types of advert, and see which has been the
most successful.
One of the things that did worry me, having been in the computer
industry for about fifteen years now, both as tutor and as
a "techie", was that the subject matter of the course
may also be a bit difficult to comprehend. Knowing that some
of my clients were new to computing and the internet, and
some of them didn't have the "techie" know how to
set up what was required, would I dare recommend this course
to them?
It was therefore a very pleasant surprise to find "The
Insider Secrets" does not rely on any "tech
talk" and anyone who has a computer with an internet
connection or uses e-mail, should be able to understand very
easily what is required to market on the Internet. In fact
it is one of the most "common sense" courses I have
come across, which as a qualified teacher I must commend,
and I would recommend the course literature to every business
as a "must read" piece of literature, for now or
the future.
Marketing on the Internet IS the cheapest current form of
communication and advertising at present, so why not take
advantage of "The Insider Secrets to the Internet Course"
as soon as you can.
Just by you reading this I know the course is working, because
I have reached you. So learn what I have, it can only help
to make you a better person to learn something beneficial,
and it will definitely make your business more profitable.
